Is REVI Credit a credit card?

No. REVI Credit may function like a credit card but it’s more than your regular credit card. It allows you to borrow money repeatedly, as much as your credit line would allow. How much is the REVI Credit?

With REVI Credit, you can get a credit line ranging from P1,000 to P250,000; depending on your qualifications, such as credit score and other CIMB criteria.

Interest rates

The REVI Credit interest rate is anywhere from 1% to 5% per month. This is determined by your credit score. The monthly interest rate is pro-rated, which means it’s distributed over the number of days of the loan term.

For instance, if you use REVI Credit to purchase an item worth 500 pesos and wish to pay it in 5 days, your REVI Credit balance will be P504.167.

From: 500 x 5% x 5/30= P4.67

The interest rate is relatively lower than most personal loans, making it an attractive option for those looking for additional financing.

REVI Credit cash loan, how to apply?

Before you can avail of a REVI Credit cash loan, you must first download the REVI Credit app and log on using  your CIMB Bank credentials. So, this means that you must first be a CIMB Bank customer.

If you’re not yet a CIMB accountholder, you can quickly open an account through the mobile app and then register for a REVI Credit account.

Requirements

  • You must be a Filipino citizen.

  • You must be at least 21 years old and no older than 65.

  • Your gross monthly income must be at least P10,000.

  • You must have proof of income (or source of funds).

  • You must have a Philippine mailing address.

  • You must have a working mobile phone number.

  • You must be a fully verified customer of CIMB Bank.

  • You must have one valid ID.

Application form

The application process is simple and can be completed online in minutes. But first you must check if you’re eligible to apply for a REVI Credit account. If you meet the requirements, you can proceed by filling out the application form on the mobile app.

How to increase limit for the credit line?

If you wish to have a higher REVI credit line, you have to keep good credit standing by maintaining a good payment history. At this time, there’s still no system in place to request a higher or lower credit limit, but CIMB Bank said that it will be made available soon. Until then, keep using your credit line and pay on time so that you are more likely to get approved once they accept REVI Credit increase limit requests.

How long does it take to have the money?

Approval is instant once you submit your proof of income. If you are asked to submit additional documents, the approval may take up to 2 days. Once approved, you can use your credit line for purchases and payments.

CIMB Bank has several payment channels, both online and over the counter:

  • Via CIMB Bank PH Savings Account

  • 7-11

  • Online or over the counter banks via DragonPay.

  • Bayad Center

  • GSave through GCash

Payment terms

The tenure length or loan term for REVI Credit is anywhere from 6 to 36 months, depending on your credit score.

Minimum payment allowed

If you’re not yet ready to pay the full amount of your loan, you can opt to pay 15% of your total amount due, which is the minimum payment extended to you. Keep in mind that it’s recommended to play the balance in full to avoid accumulating interest charges.

How do I know the due date?

Your REVI Credit due date is fixed at 15 calendar days after your statement date. This is determined by the approval date of your REVI Credit.

How to pay REVI Credit using GCash?

If you wish to pay using the GCash facility, just log on to your GCash app, select Bills Payment and then choose CIMB Bank. Make sure your GCash has enough funds to complete the payment transaction.

What happens if I can't pay?

In the event that you’re unable to pay your REVI Credit loan, you will be charged a late payment fee as well as a finance charge. Late payment fee is 5% of the unpaid installment due or P50, whichever is higher.

If you default on your obligations, CIMB may cancel your credit facility and demand repayment. The bank may also take legal action against you.

How to change your REVI Credit to a term loan?

If you want to convert to a REVI credit term loan follow the next steps:

  • Log in to the CIMB Bank app.
  • On your REVI credit dashboard, select “Term Loan.”
  • Choose the loan amount you want to borrow as well as the loan term (6 to 36 months).
  • Indicate the purpose of the loan.

The monthly installment will then be displayed. You can either proceed or make changes to the loan amount or tenure. If you’re happy with the REVI Credit payment terms, you can choose where you want the money to be disbursed. You have the option to have the money deposited to your CIMB UpSave account or to your GSave Plus account.

Review your application and agree to the Terms and Conditions. You will be sent an OTP to your registered mobile to confirm the transaction.

How to transfer your REVI Credit line to your bank account?

To transfer your REVI Credit to your CIMB Bank account, go to your dashboard and select “Transfer.” Enter the amount you want to transfer. When prompted, enter the 6-digit OTP then select CIMB Bank PH. The money will then be transferred to your CIMB account.

REVI Credit log in steps

  1. REVI Credit is available to CIMB Bank accountholders. So, you must first open an account with CIMB Bank.

  2. Download the REVI Credit app.

  3. Log in with your CIMB Bank username and password.

  4. Go to the Dashboard and proceed with your transaction.

If you are a GSave customer but have not linked to the CIMB Bank PH app yet, you will be given temporary credentials to access the REVI Credit app.

REVI Credit generally has a positive rating on the App platforms. Users of the app are mostly satisfied with how the app works.
